VR Experience About Warsaw During World War II
Kognita developed an immersive educational and historical VR application for the National Centre for Culture. The experience takes users on a virtual walk through Warsaw during World War II, combining 360° video, 3D reconstructions and expert historical narration.
The 45-minute experience is divided into chapters covering key stages of the city’s history, from the pre-war period to reconstruction. The project included multimedia production, 3D modelling, Unity development, sound design, testing and publication for VR platforms such as Meta Quest and HTC Vive.
The application makes historical education more engaging, especially for younger audiences.
