Kognita implemented an augmented reality solution for an energy sector company to improve quality inspections on a photovoltaic farm. The system supports hands-free field work, real-time access to data and remote audio-video communication with experts.

Technicians can view documentation and device parameters directly in their field of view, use digital overlays to identify installation elements and faults, and document inspections with photos and recordings. The Proof of Concept included implementation, user training and analysis of potential time and cost savings.

The result was faster, more precise inspections and improved cooperation between field teams and experts.
